4-Year-Old Program

PreK Program

Our 3-year-old program offers developmentally appropriate activities through our supportive learning environment.  Our approaches meet the individual needs of each child. A balance of both quiet and active play throughout the day support the intellectual, physical, social and emotional needs of each child through indoor and outdoor activities.

We offer opportunities to grow in faith, music, art, computer and physical education.  In addition to focusing on the State of Ohio Early Education Content Standards, we strive to help each student develop Catholic values in a way that is meaningful to a young child.

Four-year-old's require an abundance of hands-on learning.  Our school provides a learning environment that supports these needs.  Students will explore learning through meaningful lessons, centers, manipulatives and circle time.  Children are provided with numerous opportunities to develop the social and emotional skills necessary in group settings.

Our Prekindergarten program is the perfect balance between preschool and kindergarten.  It is designed to best prepare students for kindergarten.  Ohio Content Standards have changed and are now even more rigorous in the kindergarten year.  PreK will give a student that may not be quite ready for kindergarten another year to develop socially, emotionally and academically.
